• Attract and retain retired educators who want to contribute to the ongoing success of public education.
• Educate members about local, state, and national legislative decisions that will affect senior benefits and public education.
• Support classroom teachers and their schools.

The founding Purpose of PCREA Polk I is to:

• connect retired educators with one another, with local and state retirement resources, and with opportunities for personal & professional growth.
• create opportunities for retired educators to serve Polk County students, teachers, classrooms, schools, and communities, and
• provide financial support to current and future educators.
